Instant Cleaner for Fresh Cement-Based Grout

FILA INSTANT REMOVER is a ready-to-use cleaner developed to remove fresh cement-based grout residues during installation. It removes fresh residues, including those of grouts containing additives, and prevents the formation of dull stains and marks caused by residues left on the surface. Thanks to RAPID DRY TECHNOLOGY, developed for use during installation, it acts quickly; its patented application system delivers results of proven effectiveness.

It can be used on porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, glass mosaics and unglazed clinker tiles, indoors and outdoors, on walls and floors. It is also ideal for cleaning the back of large-format tiles before laying and for cleaning grout floats and application tools. It does not foam and does not release harmful fumes; it does not damage the material, the grout or aluminium and steel profiles.

4-Step Application

Application

Wait for the Initial Set

Wait until the grout has taken its initial set and feels hard to the touch. According to the grout manufacturer’s instructions, this usually takes 10-30 minutes.
Pre-Clean

First clean the surface with a sponge moistened with clean water.
Spray the Product

Spray INSTANT REMOVER evenly onto the damp surface and leave it for 1-2 minutes depending on the surface finish.
Clean with a Sponge Float

Clean with a sponge float, rinsing the float frequently to keep it clean. For stubborn stains, repeat the operations after 1 hour.

Safe Use

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

Do not use on polished marble or acid-sensitive materials.
Carry out a test on a small, hidden area of the surface to check the resistance of the grout to the product.
Do not use an abrasive sponge; do not apply excessive pressure during cleaning so as not to damage the grout.
Cleaning with INSTANT REMOVER can only be carried out during installation/grouting; for hardened cement-based grout residues, use the acid-based DETERDEK PRO.
Keep out of the reach of children; do not release into the environment after use.
Storage: 5-30 °C; surface during application: 5-30 °C.
