After-Installation and Post-Construction Cleaning

FILA DETERDEK PRO is a detergent with a buffered acid formula developed to remove installation residues and construction dirt left on the surface after laying and application. It removes efflorescence from terracotta surfaces and limescale deposits and rust stains from floors, showers and bathroom fittings; it also helps to remove engobe marks from ceramic and porcelain tiles.

As it contains surfactants of vegetable origin, it cleans while removing deposits. It contains no hydrochloric acid and does not generate fumes harmful to the user or the environment during use. It does not alter the appearance or colour of materials and does not damage grout or aluminium and steel profiles. Acting as both a cleaner and a deposit remover depending on the dilution ratio, DETERDEK PRO is also effective for the deep cleaning of outdoor floors.

5-Step Application

Application

Wet the Surface

Wet the surface thoroughly with water before starting to clean.
Prepare the Solution

Dilute DETERDEK PRO 1:5 or 1:10 (1 litre of product in 5 or 10 litres of water). For intensive maintenance cleaning of surfaces exposed to outdoor conditions, dilute 1 litre of product with 10 litres of water.
Apply and Wait

Apply the solution in sections of a few square metres and allow it to act for 5 minutes.
Scrub

Work with a single-disc floor machine or a wide brush.
Rinse

Remove the residue with a cloth or a wet vacuum and rinse with plenty of water. If stubborn dirt remains, repeat the cleaning with a more concentrated solution.

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

Do not use on polished marble or acid-sensitive materials.
Before application, carry out a test on a small area of the surface to make sure the material is resistant to the product.
On aluminium parts, follow the instructions for use and use a soft sponge.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not release into the environment after use.
Storage: 5-30 °C; surface during application: 5-30 °C.
