Dirt-Repellent Protector

FILA STOP DIRT is a dirt-repellent protector developed for textured, unpolished and lappato porcelain tiles. It increases the resistance of the material to soiling and makes cleaning quicker and easier, helping surfaces to stay hygienic. It preserves the original appearance of the material over time and provides long-lasting protection.

It does not form a film on the surface, is UV-resistant and does not yellow. According to tests carried out in accordance with the B.C.R.A. and ASTM C 1028-2007 methods, it does not alter the slip resistance of the material. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, STOP DIRT covers large areas with little product; 1 litre of product can treat up to 70 m². As it is a solvent-based product, the room must be ventilated during application. The product is classified A+ under the French VOC regulation.

5-Step Application

Application

Wash the Floor

On newly laid surfaces, wash the floor thoroughly with DETERDEK PRO (for cement-based grouts) or CR10 (for epoxy grouts). On surfaces to be renovated that have not previously been treated with a protector, use PS87 PRO and/or DETERDEK PRO.
Apply the Product

Apply the product undiluted evenly to the clean, dry floor, including the joints, with a plush applicator or another suitable applicator. Each time, use a measured amount of product to cover an area of 2-3 m².
Rub

Rub the surface with a cloth or with a single-disc floor machine fitted with a white pad.
Remove the Residue

Completely remove all product residues within 10 minutes, by hand with a microfibre cloth or with a single-disc floor machine.
Open to Use

After at least 12 hours, before starting to walk on the surface, remove any product residues with a clean microfibre cloth.

Safe Use

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

It is a solvent-based product; ventilate the room during application and use.
The product may accentuate the colour of the material or the grout; carry out a preliminary test on a small area.
Do not apply to lappato porcelain tiles with a matt surface.
In the event of incorrect application, strip STOP DIRT with FASEZERO.
A single-disc floor machine may only be used if it is in perfect working order.
Keep out of the reach of children; do not release into the environment after use.
Storage: 0-30 °C; surface during application: 5-30 °C.
